Dr. Martin Luther
King Jr. Boulevard and Mount Vernon Avenue, will be a lasting tribute
to the fight for civil rights. This project is being funded by the Casino
Reinvestment Development Authority.

Rotary Plaza (Left), dedicated on Tuesday August 7 and located
at South Carolina Avenue and the Boardwalk, is a 60'x80' landscaped plaza
featuring an information gazebo, tables and benches. Rotary Club of Atlantic
City, City of Atlantic City
and the Special Improvement District designed and
constructed the facility. The city provided funding for the raised block
planters, while the ACSID provided funding for the gazebo. Two large windows
outlined by wooden archways feature the Rotary Club logo and a list of
the club's accomplishments
over the years.
