Riding the wave towards the rebirth of downtown Atlantic City, what a great feeling!

The Special Improvement District is extremely pleased to be teaming up with the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority, City of Atlantic City, ACIA,
Brighton Park Maintenance Corp. and many others as we strive towards changing
the face of our city.

We have a lot to be excited about. Check out the new landscaped park at Delaware and Mediterranean avenues, stroll down the famous Boardwalk to Kennedy Plaza
for a round of miniature golf, an on-stage performance or just relax and enjoy a beverage in the beautifully landscaped park. Tired of walking the boards? Rest
those weary feet at Rotary Plaza on South Carolina Avenue, a project sponsored by the Rotary Club of Atlantic City, City of Atlantic City and the Special Improvement District. Rotary Plaza is fully equipped with dining tables, benches, landscaping and a brand new information gazebo. Also, our Thursday afternoon "Arts In The Alley" concert series in Gordon's Alley had people
dancing in the streets.

Economic Development's Facade Improvement Program unveiled new facades at Triangle Reprocenter, Tax World and CrocTails Tavern outdoor cafe in Gordon's Alley. Soon, facades to Center City Deli, The Optical Room, 12 South Virginia Avenue and the 1700 block of Atlantic Avenue from Miller's Menswear to Dominating Cuts, will be unfurled.

This fall, our Landscaping Division will complete two more parks at States & Pacific avenues and Mississippi and Artic avenues across from Barbara's Fish Market and White House Subs, which will feature outdoor seating. Environmental Services Division has maximized its efficiency with a brand new power-washing machine, while the Courtesy Patrol Division continues to provide light security throughout the district with
the addition of a six-man bike patrol.

With the expansion at the Tropicana Casino, construction of the Borgata in the Marina District and the arrival
of the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies ECHL team to compliment the completion of the historic
Boardwalk Hall renovation, Atlantic City is riding the wave towards a bright future!
