Something to look forward to...

Last fall ACSID's Landscaping Division, headed by manager Jon Bitzer and assistant manager Jim Lawlor, took on the massive task of planting 10,000 tulip bulbs at locations across the District. The bulbs were planted in the medians of the most heavily-traveled corridors in the city.

Spring Cleanup

The weather may not always reflect it, but spring has sprung in Atlantic City! As in years past, the Landscaping Division has been working diligently on the annual district-wide spring cleanup. Over the past few weeks Atlantic City's parks and major arteries have received plenty of TLC. After raking and cleaning up debris from planting beds and trimming back native grasses to promote fresh new growth, 500 yards of mulch were laid in our city parks to delineate paths, accent planting beds and assist with the division's weed abatement program. Open spaces including the Expressway Corridor, Brighton Park, Oscar E. McClinton Park, Center City Park and Delaware Avenue Park are now ready for the influx of flowers and other plants
scheduled for the month of May. City ball fields received a facelift too, with beautiful new sod being laid in Pallito Field, Dolphin Field, and Chelsea Heights Field.
