| To: Don Guardian, Executive Director From: David A. Messier Date: March 8, 2005 Dear Don: On behalf of our Board of Trustees, the members of our South Jersey’s Men R’ Cookin Committee and the hundreds of youth members of the Boys & Girls Club, I want to express our sincerest appreciation for everything the Special Improvement District did to help make this event the great success that it was. You and your staff did a magnificent job helping our committee to produce this event. We received many compliments from individuals who were in attendance for the wonderful decorations that Cynthia Hammond provided in the lobby area and everyone enjoyed the Motown videos that were arranged and set up by Jennifer Simmons. It was truly a team effort by SID workers who helped to pick up and deliver tables and chairs and other items that were essential to the event. Jon Bitzer and his team did a great job and their efforts helped to transform our facility into a grand ballroom. We cannot thank the SID team enough and we are grateful for the personal efforts given to this event from you and Jon by serving as chefs with sixty other community leaders who pitched in to help Atlantic City kids. Winning the amateur entrée award makes your personal contribution even more noteworthy. Atlantic City is a better place as a result of the work performed by the Special Improvement District and we are grateful for everything you do to make our community a superior place to live, work and play. Sincerely, David A. Messier, Executive Director Atlantic City Boys and Girls Club |

| To: Jon Bitzer, Manager, Landscaping Division From: Libbie Wills Date: November 15, 2004 Dear Mr. Bitzer, On behalf of the First Ward Civic Association, I would like to thank you and the SID for the role you played in helping us obtain the plants needed to beautify Maine Avenue. As always, it is a pleasure to work with you on a project that will help benefit the community. Sincerely, Libbie Wills, President First Ward Civic Association To: Ralph Triboletti, Manager, Economic Dev'm't. Robert Williams, Construction Project Manager From: Michael Zagabaylo Date: April 9, 2005 Dear Ralph and Bob, With our parking lot completed and the awning due to be installed, I thought this was a good time to write you about our experience with ACSID. It has been a pleasure to deal with all the people involved with the Facade Program. The ACSID staff and their contractors have been courteous, efficient and have shown special interest in completing the project. Even though the work to complete the grant at the Wonder Bar and Sunset Room was small in comparison with the larger projects ACSID does, you have shown us the same professionalism and attention to detail. Thank you for the positive impact you have had on our business. Warmest regards, Michael Zagabaylo, Owner The Wonder Bar PS - By the way, painting seagulls on the parking lot was a brilliant suggestion. The shells are gone. Problem solved! |
