The $1 billion, 2,010-room, 43-story Borgata Resort, Spa & Casino at Renaissance Point is progressing towards its scheduled summer 2003 grand opening.
Harrah's Casino Hotel officially opened its new $113 million, 452-room Bayview hotel tower in early May. A new $80 million grand entryway, complete with outdoor park and 28,000 square feet of additional gaming space, opened on Wednesday, May 22, 2002.

Showboat Casino Hotel is spending nearly$100 million for its much-needed, new 544-room hotel tower, which is scheduled to officially open in either the summer or fall of 2003. Showboat, which currently boasts only 800 hotel rooms, averages a 98.5% occupancy rate.

 

Park Place Entertainment, owner of Bally's and Claridge Casino Hotels, this summer will unveil its new $28 million, two-story addition, which will attach the two casinos to one another. Built above Pop Lloyd Boulevard, the first floor features retail shops and a walkway, while the second floor features meeting rooms.
