The afternoon was filled with games, fun and enough entertainment to keep even the most energetic of children occupied and scampering home tired. An Easter egg hunt had adventurous little ones running around the park in search of the plastic-shaped treasures. Of course, there was plenty of sugary candy to go around, which would explain the buzz that the dozens of children created on this special day.
This annual event (above left and right) was sponsored by the City of Atlantic City, Casino Reinvestment Development Authority, Councilman Dennis Mason, Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, and the merchants and casinos of the Special Improvement District. This event (right) was held in conjunction with a formal ribbon cutting ceremony officially unveiling the new facade enhancement at Mel's Furniture, located at 508 Atlantic Avenue. Live entertainment was performed by the group "Island Jam," while food and beverages were provided by Le Grand Fromage. |
