At 2003 began, the former Courtesy Patrol Division became the District Ambassadors and thus took on a fresh new look. To usher in this new image and feel, the ambassadors (right - LaTanya Wynn and Oscar Harris) were outfitted with new uniforms.

The ambassadors also staff a three-member bike patrol (left) -
Arthur Dennis, Nathaniel Russell and Al Prather (not pictured) - that provides light security throughout the district seven days a week from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Bike patrol members roam the district, which is divided into two parts (Maine to Michigan avenues and Michigan to Kingston avenues), four times a day. Bike patrol members also provide light security during citywide special events and around the expressway corridor during events at the Atlantic City Convention Center.
