Dear Mr. Guardian,

The administration and staff of Texas Avenue School sincerely thank you for your support and help during our Open House. You sent two wonderful staff members who did a fine job of representing the ACSID. They were magnificent conversationalists.
Ms. Stellzene Roberts and Ms. Cynthia Hammond set up the coffee and other beverages and also served donuts and pastries to our parents, students and guests. How impressive for our parents to be served during Open House. As I moved throughout the cafeteria, I could also see and hear the pleasant conversations that Ms. Roberts and Ms. Hammond were having with the parents and students.
Again, thank you for your support and the donations of refreshments for our Open House.

Sincerely,
Rosetta L. Johnson, Principal

Good Morning Mayor Langford,

I wanted to call your attention to an exciting program created by the Special Improvement District. They have made "memorial benches" on the Boardwalk available to honor the memory of individuals and/or those that contributed to the enhancement of our community.
Along with many of her friends, we were privileged to purchase one of these benches with an appropriate plaque to honor Ruthann K. Saul, who owned "The Downstairs Card Shop" in Gordon's Alley for many years.
Ruthann spent most of her years living in Atlantic City and was loved and admired by those whose lives she touched. What a great idea. What a fine opportunity to have someone's name, work and reputation remembered.
We are fortunate to have an organization like the ACSID under the leadership of Don Guardian, Jim Kutch and Jon Bitzer.

Sincerely,
Murray Raphel

Dear Don,

Thank you for your support and guidance that helped make Arts Alive! 2003 a tremendous success. All of the staff of the ACSID that were involved are to be commended for their assistance and help.
All of the artists involved had positive things to say about our first annual festival. They are pleased to be part of a renaissance of high quality art, crafts and music in Atlantic City and are interested in participating in 2004 and at Atlantic City Arts Week. Many Arts Alive! patrons commented on the quality of the festival and were glad to see this kind of family event being held in Atlantic City that included a "kids" program.
As you know, the Martin S. Wilson Center for the Arts is committed to providing underserved populations, including students, seniors or economically disadvantaged persons in the city with arts education, history and cultural heritage programming. This enriches lives and awakens artistic ability. Awareness of the arts is a key to social development skills.
Again, thank you so much for your support and commitment.

Sincerely,
Janet R. Bodoff, Festival Director

Dear Jazmyn,

Thank you so much for your outstanding assistance in hosting our African American writers during our Black History Familiarization tour of Atlantic City. The lunch at the Special Improvement District's office was a huge success, due in large part to your efforts.
Please know that we at the Atlantic City Convention and Visitors Authority appreciate all of the Special Improvement District's efforts in beautifying our great City. Your organization's work is incredible!
Thank you again and keep in touch.

Sincerely,
Susan Ricciardi
